An early-morning school bus accident in Todd County injured several students as well as the driver.
Todd County Schools stated in a social media post on Tuesday morning: “A Todd County School District bus was involved in a traffic accident. Several students have been taken to local hospitals. The driver of the other vehicle has also been injured.
The accident happened Tuesday morning around 6:40 a.m. on Hwy 68, as a school bus was turning from Williams Hill Road onto Hwy 68. According to WEKT.com, the bus collided with a westbound truck pulling a trailer as it made the turn.
Three of the students, the bus driver, and the truck driver were transported to a local hospital with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.
